- Provide scientific insights to future pipeline design by closely following the update of global companies in the field of oncolytic viruses therapy;
- Responsible for research activities related to the design, construction and characterization of oncolytic viruses.
- Lead a team of scientists to develop construction and functional assays for oncolytic viruse platform.
- Contribute to build new capabilities within the group, by building up team and by technology development for oncolytic viruse platform.
- Daily management of a oncolytic viruse team, including people management of junior research stuff.
- Optimize the workflow and involve the daily management of the department.

- Ph.D. in Immunology, virology, cell biology or related field with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or in an academic setting.
- Outstanding candidates with a Master/Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years’ industry experience will also be considered.
- Strong scientific background in immunology, virology and/or cell biology.
- Demonstrated experience in oncolytic virus research and development in an academic or industrial research setting.
- Hands-on experience in oncolytic virus design, construction and characterization; experience in Adenovirus, Herpesvirus or Vaccinia virus is a strong plus.
- Familiar with in vivo animal study to evaluate drug potency and safety.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and training junior scientists.
